Notes: Black Ghost Knifes emit electrical pulses to
navigate and hunt for food. They grow to a large size and thus need
ample growing room as well. Any fish housed with Black Ghost Knifes
should be at least as large as them and not prone to being agressive,
anything too small will be eaten. Being nocturnal, they should be
provided with plenty of cover to hide during the day as well as night
feedings to ensure their food isn't eaten by diurnal tankmates. Sand or
fine gravel is recommended as is a heavily planted tank. Black Ghost
Knifes can become quite tame in time and have even been known to eat
from their owner's hand.
